01 · READING
Bring your own book
Open a PDF or a Word document, or paste any German text, and read it in a proper reading column. Click a word for its base form and sense in context; click again to keep it. Select a whole sentence and Arty translates that instead.
02 · SPEAKING
A conversation you can hold at your level
Choose a topic — politics, science, literature, or no topic at all — and talk. Switch between voice, text, or both mid-session. A dictionary panel sits alongside for the word you can't find.
03 · LISTENING
Subtitles you can click
Search YouTube from inside the app, keep videos in folders, and read along at whatever subtitle size suits you. Click a word and the video waits while you look it up.
04 · WRITING
Briefs, not blank pages
Each task states the level, a word count and four things to do — narrow the topic, argue two points, answer the strongest objection, land a conclusion. Then you get corrections against that brief.
05 · GRAMMAR
Explanations written for adults
What a form signals, the forms themselves, where it goes wrong — with glossed examples. Every topic ends in a drill that tells you why the right answer is right.
06 · WORDS & QUIZZES
Everything you saved, in one place
Grouped by the day you met them or sorted A–Z, with the part of speech and the sense you looked up. Quiz the last three days, the last month, or the whole list.

Light mode, and an honest clock
Time is counted per activity, so you can see that a week of "studying" was mostly listening. Both themes are first-class — the whole app is designed twice.
